Doronicum 'Little Leo' is a compact, hardy daisy that produces a mass of bright yellow flowers from spring to late summer. The blooms are held over green, heart-shaped foliage. Leopard's Bane is suitable for use as a cut flower, or for planting in the border or containers. Height and spread: 35cm (14"). Supplied as plug tray plants.

Grow Doronicum plants in moist, humous rich, well drained soil. Choose a position in partial or dappled shade. In wet soils Doronicum may be prone to root rot, especially over the cold, winter months. Improve wet soils prior to planting by adding plenty of grit and well rotted organic matter.

Deadhead faded flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of Leopard’s Bane in autumn.
