Description How to Grow More Info Delivery Reviews
Echinops ritro produces jagged globes of brilliant blue flowers on silvery green stems, held above clusters of spiny, deeply cut foliage. This favoured perennial has a strong architectural impact and forms a striking contrast with other perennial varieties. Globe Thistle is perfect for wildlife areas as it attracts bees and other pollinating insects. Producing late summer blooms, this variety holds an RHS AGM for its garden performance, working well in hot gravel gardens and sunny cottage garden borders. Echinops ritro also makes excellent cut flowers, both fresh and dried. Height: 60cm (24"). Spread: 45cm (18").
