Description How to Grow More Info Delivery
Hardy Fuchsia 'Angela' is a garden darling with dangling, violet-purple blooms and bright crimson sepals, from June right through to autumn! This compact variety has been trained as a standard to create a fabulous patio plant, but would work equally well in borders. Showy and reliable, Fuchsia 'Angela' makes a superb addition to the garden, providing colour and interest, year after year. Like all single flowered Fuchsias, this variety will also attract pollinating insects. Height: 90cm (36"). Spread: 50cm (20").

Culinary note: Some parts of these flowers are edible. Try the sweet tasting petals on top of salads or even pancakes, crystallise them for use as cake decorations too. For more details about edible flowers click here.

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

1 x 19cm potted standard fuchsia (kb5710)
2 x 19cm potted standard fuchsias (KB8909)

Plant hardy fuchsias into light, well-drained soil in sun or part shade. When growing in containers, use a quality, well drained compost such as John Innes No.3. Pinch out the growing tips of your fuchsia plants once, to promote bushier growth and more flowers.
Feed and water plants regularly throughout the growing season. Deadhead faded fuchsia flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced. Apply a deep mulch of bark around the base of hardy fuchsias in autumn to protect the roots from winter cold. Take care not to mound mulch up against the main stem. Prune stems back to a low permanent framework in spring.
