Each of its lemon yellow petals is veined with fine lines, and at the centre is a merry swirl of deeper yellow anthers. Its leaves grow in neat clumps and are semi-evergreen. In a vase on the kitchen table or growing at the front of a sunny border in a cottage garden, this Avens is a delightful late spring bloomer. Height: 45cm (18").Spread: 35cm (14").

Grow Geums in a sunny or shaded position on any well drained soil.Water regularly until fully established. Dead-head faded geum flowers regularly to encourage more blooms to be produced. Remove old foliage in autumn. Apply a mulch of well rotted manure or garden compost to the base of the plant in spring. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of Geum to maintain their vigour.Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on.
