It's an evergreen hardy perennial that will feel at home in poor soils in rockeries, on the tops of walls or the front of borders and is a reliable ground cover plant. Candytuft is attractive to pollinating insects too. Height 30cm (12"). Spread 50cm (20").Culinary information: Both the leaves and flowers of candytuft can be eaten raw and have a taste similar to that of a sweet broccoli. Grow Iberis outdoors in any moist, well drained, non-acidic soil in full sun.Water regularly until candytuft plants are fully established. After flowering, cut back the plants and remove faded candytuft flowers if seedheads are not required to maintain a neat, compact habit.Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on.
