Add a colourful impact to your garden in spring with our Nurseryman's Choice Pieris. Pieris are easy to maintain, evergreen and require minimal pruning. Evergreen foliage will provide a perfect backdrop for the masses of beautiful flowers all year round in the garden. Ideal for planting in patio containers as well as making an excellent border shrub. Pieris plants are best grown in borders with acidic soil or patio containers containing acidic (ericaceous) compost.

Plant Pieris in moderately fertile, rich, well drained and acidic soil. Alternatively grow Pieris plants in large patio containers using a mix of ericaceous compost and John Innes No.3. Choose a position in sun or part shade.
Pieris requires little maintenance. After flowering, lightly prune out any dead or damaged growth and trim to maintain a pleasing shape. Whilst your Pieris plants are young, they may require some winter protection.
