As the name suggests Pachysandra terminalis 'Green Carpet' provides a low growing 'carpet' of green foliage, about 15cm (6") high, that is perfect for the undercanopies of trees. This ground cover plant suppresses weeds and is a neat and tidy solution for shaded areas, and awkward spots in driveways etc that would look better with some greenery. From early summer it has misty white flower spikes. It is a good addition to a contemporary style, low maintenance garden with an emphasis on lush green foliage rather than flowers. Height: 15cm (6"). Spread: up to 1m (39").
