A dazzling mixture of colours and patterns, Pansy 'Matrix™ Mixed' are bigger and better than the average pansy, providing a brilliant winter and springtime display. These robust plants have a compact, branching habit and bloom whatever the weather brings, which means you can be sure of a really reliable garden performance. Grow pansies in containers, hanging baskets and beds for a burst of colour and subtle scent in the coldest months of the year. Height: 20cm (8"). Spread: 25cm (10").

Culinary information: Some parts of these flowers are edible. The crystallised petals are great decorations for cakes and cookies, or they can be added straight to green salads for an injection of colour. For more details about edible flowers click here.

Plant Garden Ready Pansy plugs directly into flower pouches, beds, baskets, containers and window boxes. Grow pansy plants in full sun or semi shade in moist, well drained soil.
Feed and water pansy plants frequently during the growing season. Winter pansies do not require feeding over winter and should only be watered during dry periods. Deadhead faded pansy flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced and prevent them from self seeding. Pansies are short-lived perennials, performing best in their first season, and are normally grown as annual or biennial plants.

Van Meuwen strives to ensure that all its plants are delivered to you in the perfect condition for planting. While the majority of our nursery plants cope well with slight delays in intransit, sadly, the time it takes to deliver to certain locations in the UK means that we can't guarantee this for some of our smaller plug products and tender bedding and vegetable lines, which do not respond well to the extra journey time. So regretfully while we offer the majority of our live plant offering nationwide, we are unable to ship plugs, begging plants and tender vegetable plants to the following areas: HS, IV41-IV49, IV51, IV55-56, KW15-KW17, PA34, PA41-48, PA60-PA78, PA80, PH40-PH44, TR21-TR24, ZE1-ZE3.
