Poppy Checkers is easy to raise and very rewarding with pure white silky flowers are flanked within by the deepest black cross. Use as a novel cut flower, as well as for the traditional dried seed heads. Height: 60-90cm (2-3ft).Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

Plant poppies in a sunny position in moist, well drained soil, working some well rotted manure or garden compost into the soil prior to planting.Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season until plants are fully established. Leave faded flowers in place; the dried seed heads make an attractive late summer feature, and birds will appreciate the seeds as food. In autumn, remove old foliage and apply a mulch of well rotted manure to the base of the plant.Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on.
