Although the blooms of Oriental Poppies are short lived ‘Prinzessin Victoria Louise' does it in style with tall bristled stems contrasting with the delicate ruffled crepe paper-like petals around a deep, dark centre followed by attractive seedheads to lengthen the period of interest. This hardy perennial will be a favourite in cottage garden borders. Height: 90cm (36"). Spread: 60cm (24").

Plant perennial poppies in a sunny position in moist, well drained soil.Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season until plants are fully established. Leave faded flowers in place; the dried seed heads make an attractive late summer feature, and birds will appreciate the seeds as food. In autumn, remove old foliage and apply a mulch of well rotted manure to the base of the plant.Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on.
