Although the blooms of Oriental Poppies are short lived ‘Prinzessin Victoria Louise' does it in style with tall bristled stems contrasting with the delicate ruffled crepe paper-like petals around a deep, dark centre followed by attractive seedheads to lengthen the period of interest. This hardy perennial will be a favourite in cottage garden borders. Height: 90cm (36"). Spread: 60cm (24").

Plant perennial poppies in a sunny position in moist, well drained soil.Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season until plants are fully established. Leave faded flowers in place; the dried seed heads make an attractive late summer feature, and birds will appreciate the seeds as food. In autumn, remove old foliage and apply a mulch of well rotted manure to the base of the plant.Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above.
