Solidago 'Little Lemon' is a compact Goldenrod variety, bearing zesty lemon blooms on bushy, well-branched plants throughout the summer. It shows superior mildew resistance to other varieties, and looks good all season long. Fuss-free and easy-to-grow, this hardy perennial will even thrive in drier conditions once established. Its cheery plumes of flowers make a useful cut flower, and are loved by pollinating insects. Height: 45cm (18"). Spread: 60cm (24").

Grow Solidago plants in any well-drained soil in full sun. Golden rod copes with most conditions and is reasonably drought tolerant once established.

Golden rod requires virtually no maintenance. Simply cut back to ground level in late autumn. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps in spring.
