Stachys officinalis ‘Wisley White’ provides dependable ground cover beneath shrubs and roses and makes a long-season front of border feature. Related to our native betony and equally attractive to butterflies and bees, this clump-forming perennial produces spikes of pure white, hooded flowers held on sturdy, upright stems above rosettes of wrinkled leaves. The long-lasting flowers are produced from June to August. Height: 60cm (24”). Spread: 30cm (12”). Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

Grow in any well-drained soil in full sun.

Cut down to the ground in late autumn or spring allowing new growth to appear. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps in early spring to maintain plant vigour.
