A summer filled with bright colours and delightful fragrance is guaranteed when you plant this easy to grow Sweet William ‘Sweet Mix’ in your beds and borders. Dianthus Barbatus, is also useful as a cut flower and could be grown in a pot on your patio too. A perfect addition to any cheerful display where the vibrant shades of red, purple or white will certain shine through. Height: 45cm (18"). Spread: 30cm (12")

Pot up Sweet William plug plants and grow them on in frost free conditions for transplanting into borders and containers later on. When all risk of frost has passed, and plugs are fully rooted into their pots, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Plant Sweet Williams in beds and borders in fertile, well drained soil in full sun.
Feed and water Sweet William plants regularly until they are fully established. Deadhead faded Sweet William flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced throughout the summer.
