Verbena hastata f. rosea 'Pink Spires' is perfect for the back of the cottage garden border or interspersed with tall grasses in prairie planting. A multitude of tall, branching stems bear elegant spires of tiny mauve-pink flowers, which are a magnet for pollinators. The strong stems of this hardy perennial are a great addition to cut flower bouquets. Height: 120cm (48"). Spread: 45cm (18").

Plant Verbena outdoors in a sheltered position in any moist, well drained soil in full sun or semi shade.

Feed and water plants regularly until they are fully established. In autumn, apply a dry mulch of bark chips or straw to protect the crown of the plant throughout the winter months. Cut back the old stems when new shoots emerge at the base of the plant in spring.
