A neat, uniform free flowering strain. Soft, fragrant colours; lemon, cream, gold, apricot, purple, pink, salmon, rose and mahogany. Versatile and undemanding, this short lived perennial tends to be grown as a biennial, and is tough enough to cope in even the poorest of soils. Height: 37-45cm (15-18in).

Sow in late spring/early summer outdoors in a well prepared seed bed. Sow the seeds very thinly 1.5mm (1/16in) deep in drills 30cm (12in) apart. Keep the soil damp until germination takes place.

Transplant the seedlings when large enough to handle 15-23cm (6-9in) apart. Then transplant 30- 38cm (12 -15in) into the flowering site in the autumn for flowering the following year.

They will grow in most soils in sun or part shade.
