Garden Ready Plants - If you’ve fallen behind with your planting or if greenhouse space is limited, we can help you catch up with our garden-ready plug plants. These sturdy plants are larger than other plugs so they can be planted straight out in the garden provided that there are no forecasts of frost. Perfect for filling containers, baskets and borders without the need for growing on.

Culinary information: Using masses of individual petals makes a colourful garnish for soups and salads. The petals are useful for decorating cakes and biscuits too! For more details about edible flowers click here.

Pot up plug plants into 9cm pots and grow them on in frost free conditions. When Bellis plugs are fully rooted into their pots, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days and transplant into beds and patio containers. Plant Bellis in well drained soil in full sun or semi shade.
Feed and water frequently throughout the summer to ensure an endless supply of flowers. Deadhead faded Bellis flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced.
